Homemade Benecol® Granola

Yields: 10 servings

Total Time: 15 minutes


  • 3 cups rolled oats

  • 1 cup sliced almonds

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

  • 2/3 cup Benecol® Original spread, melted

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

OPTIONAL: 1/2 cup superfood like Chia, Hemp or Flax Seed


  1. Preheat oven to 325*F

  2. In a large bowl, combine the oats, almonds, cocoa powder and cinnamon.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the Benecol® with the brown sugar, and then pour over the oat mixture.

  4. Spread evenly over a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until oats are toasty and fragrant.

  5. Allow to cook before serving, and store in an air-tight container.
